Graphical Display Measurement
As the
measurement is performed the results are displayed graphically. This
makes it easy for the user to relate the measurement to the component
and its drawing.

Importing of drawing files
CimProj can import drawing files in DXF format and
display them on the screen graphically. The user can then select
nominal values by clicking on entities on the screen.

Flexible Reporting
Users can customize measurement reports to suit their
requirements. Reports can also be output in Microsoft Excel or XML
Formats.

Teach & Playback
CimProj provides the very useful features of Teach &
Playback. This allows the user to teach a measurement program once
and then execute it multiple times. This is extremely useful for
repeated measurements of the same type of component. It also
drastically reduces the chances of operator error as the measurement
sequence is encoded in the program. CimProj uses the
industry-standard DMIS format to store the measurement program.

Reverse Engineering
CimProj can be effectively used to “reverse
engineer” or “digitize” components i.e. create a
drawing of a component from the component itself. The component
drawing can be output in DXF format.

Graphical User Interface
The CimProj user-interface is extremely simple and
displays all relevant information on the screen all the time. Icons and
shortcuts are provided to speed up the measurement process.

Rapid Integration
CimProj hardware and software have been designed to ease
the process of integrating the system to the machine. The hardware
has an inbuilt power supply for powering the linear scales and
joystick. All connectors are conveniently provided at the back of the
hardware to provide easy accessibility.
